Ordering a custom cake for the first time can feel daunting. How much notice do you need? How do you communicate a design idea? What if you change your mind? This guide answers every question we get asked.

How Much Notice Do You Need?

We require a minimum of 3 days notice for standard orders. For multi-tier cakes, elaborate sugar florals, or wedding orders, we recommend 2 to 3 weeks. During peak seasons — December, Valentine's Day, and the Durga Puja period — we book out weeks in advance. The earlier you reach out, the better.

How to Share Your Design Idea

You do not need to have everything figured out. A mood board, a Pinterest screenshot, a description of the colours you love, or even a vague feeling ("I want it to feel like a garden at dawn") — all of these are perfect starting points. We are trained to translate ideas, not just execute instructions.

Flavours and Dietary Requirements

Our standard menu includes classic vanilla, rich chocolate, lemon & elderflower, red velvet, and salted caramel. We accommodate most dietary requirements including eggless, nut-free, and reduced-sugar options. All requirements must be communicated at the time of enquiry.

Pricing and Payment

Pricing is based on size, complexity, and any specialised techniques. We provide a detailed quote after the initial consultation. A 50% advance is required to confirm your order, with the balance due on delivery.
